Traditionally distilled twice in copper pot stills, Sierra Reposado matures for nine months in toasted oak barrels bringing with it a golden colour. Reposado is the favourite variety of tequila among Mexicans. The fresh fruitiness of Sierra Tequila Reposado carries delicate notes of vanilla, caramel, and herbs whilst there is a complex aroma. A recipient of numerous international awards.Like many (if not almost all) Tequila producers Sierra is based in Jalisco, Mexico. Why? Quite simply this is where the best of the Blue Agave plant can be found. The plant runs right through the heart of a Tequila and their quality are absolutely crucial in deciding on the eventual quality of the Tequila itself.
